WELCOME HOME

Our Instagram pages were made by queer people, for queer people. Many LGBTQIA+ people don't have a space to discuss and celebrate who they are, without fear of judgement. With this in mind, we have some house rules.

BE RESPECTFUL

We have a zero tolerance policy regarding queerphobia of any kind, whether it's homophobia, transphobia, biphobia, acephobia, etc. We don't tolerate racism, abilism, sexism, xenophobia, or serophobia.

Ultimately we will decide if and when a comment crosses the line. Bigotry of any kind may result in the removal of your comment and/or a permanent ban.

BE KIND

It takes so much courage to tell your story to a large audience. We are incredibly protective of the folks who
we feature on our pages, as well as those who comment.

Rude comments, personal attacks, bullying, harassment, doxxing, threats of violence, etc. will not be tolerated.

Any of the above will result in a warning, or a permanent ban (depending on the severity of the comment).

COME OPEN-MINDED

This is a great place to ask questions, learn, and make mistakes — so long as you are doing so respectfully and in good faith. Don't try to incite an arguement. We know what you're doing. Your comment will be deleted.

If you ask a question in good faith and mess up — no biggie! A simple apology will do the trick! If you ask someone a question and they can't or won't answer, please respect that.

If you cross a line, we will issue a warning. If you continue to push that line, you may be subject to a permanent ban.

NO SPAM

Spam will be deleted and may be reported. This includes any comments that are submitted by bots and multiples of the same comment, regardless of their nature or intent.

WE'RE NOT A DATING SERVICE

From time to time you may see people asking for DMs or looking for sexual or romantic partners in our comments. These will almost always be deleted on sight.

Need advice on how to meet LGBTQIA+ people online?

WANT TO MAKE FRIENDS?

You may also see calls to enter group chats. While we fully support making friends with one another on our pages, please be cautious when entering group chats.

If you want to make queer friends/connections online, consider signing up for PINKMANTARAY CONNECT.

If you're 13-24 consider TrevorSpace. TrevorSpace is a monitored youth-friendly site where LGBTQIA+ folks can connect with other young people throughout the world, and get involved in their local communities.

THANK YOU!
